Supply Chain Coordinator - SPT (Project Management)
Job Summary
Job Description
Coordinate logistical support (such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, vendor selection and distribution) for imported products (from the time the product leaves the overseas port, through a Medline Import Deployment Center and into inventory at the designated branch).
Responsibilities:
Analyze and direct the movement of imported goods into the branches to optimize service at the lowest transportation cost.
Balance inventory levels of imported goods across the branch network.
Provide direction related to the pull in or push out of specific deployments targeted at improved service.
Analyze past due reports and vendor shipments. Communicate and follow-up with the IM Shanghai operation for the status and ETD of past due POs.
Analyze reports to identify issues within the import supply chain. Coordinate the distribution of products to the branches.
Process and resolve issues by using the SAP APO alerting system.
Requirements:
Education
Associate's degree.
Additional
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: designing and creating simple queries, modifying data types, adding dates, working with required fields and/or creating labels).
At least 3 years supply chain experience.
Ability to communicate clearly to internal and external audiences and at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Statistics.
Relevant Experience
Experience in buying and import logistics.
Experience with SAP.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$25.25 - $35.25 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
