Medical Collections Specialist (AR) (Administrative)

Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time AR Medical Collections Specialist. The ideal candidate will have background with insurance verification or medical billing.

Position is located in Plainfield, IL. This is an in-person position. Monday- Friday 8am-4:30 pm, 8:30am-5pm.

Duties included but not limited to:
Patient and AR collectionsAnswer insurance/patient correspondence for claims resolutionsFollowing up with payers to resolve unpaid or denied insurance claimsIdentify trends and solutions to problem payersFile appeals with follow upBilling Office assistantElectronic and Paper claim submissionField inbound patient calls and be able to address their billing issues

The applicant must work well with an office team and in a busy, fast-paced setting, must be able to multi-task and proactively problem solve. Please only serious applicants.
