Temporary Manufacturing Planner (Finance)



Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Manufacturing Planner to support our production operations. This role involves planning manufacturing jobs, creating rework jobs, and collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams to address failure modes, all within the Syteline ERP system. The ideal candidate will have experience with Syteline or similar ERP systems and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Job Planning:
  • Plan and initiate manufacturing jobs in the Syteline ERP system based on production requirements and inventory levels for quality re-plans.
  • Collaborate with production, planning and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing jobs.
  • Rework Job Creation:
  • Identify products requiring rework and create corresponding rework jobs in the Syteline system.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to assess failure modes and determine necessary rework actions.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of rework jobs in the Syteline system.
  • Customer Communication:
  • Provide timely reschedule dates based on manufacturing and rework timelines.
  • Communicate any delays or changes promptly to manage customer expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in manufacturing planning or production scheduling.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably Syteline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Syteline Experience
