Manager, Enterprise Communications (Finance)



Nemours is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Communications (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, FL or Wilmington, DE.

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Manager of Thought Leadership Content Strategy with an emphasis on leading the highly successful Well Beyond Medicine podcast, named Adweek's 2024 Best B2B Podcast. The Well Beyond Medicine podcast spotlights the people, programs and partnerships addressing Whole Child Health.

In this newly created role, this individual would report to the Vice President, Reputation and Communications, and have a mix of experience in digital marketing, communications and/or broadcast journalism to devise a content strategy dedicated to a thought leadership audience. They would oversee the strategic direction, development and execution of content initiatives designed to educate, inspire and ignite action to advance the organization's mission and goals. As a core channel within the thought leadership content strategy, this role would oversee the Well Beyond Medicine podcast production process from planning through promotion and collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to curate high-quality and engaging content. This candidate should excel in being planful, writing copy, consider themselves a savvy marketer, and be astute with tools related to podcast management and channel measurement and analysis to optimize engagement across existing and new channels.

  • Strategic Implementation: Develop an enterprise-wide content strategy targeting Nemours Children's thought leadership audience, considering personas, channel optimization, and an editorial calendar that can serve to align parties across the organization.
  • Enterprise Collaboration: Partner with key internal stakeholders such as the National Office on Policy and Practice, External Affairs, Community Engagement, and colleagues across Marketing and Communications to curate content and leverage external relationships.
  • Well Beyond Medicine podcast: In partnership with the WBM podcast host and external agency, serve as the strategic advisor and team lead for content curation and promotion of the podcast with the goals of securing high-profile guests, growing listenership, and developing a monetization strategy. This includes elevating its strategies for guest outreach, conferences, marketing, website, e-newsletter, social media, and launching an underwriting strategy. This individual will also be responsible for budget oversight.
  • Content Development and Management: Oversee the curation, creation and management of content across thought leadership platforms. Ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling visual and copy that drives engagement.
  • Branding and Reputation Management: Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to ensure the content aligns with Nemours Children's Health's brand identity and messaging. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content channels.
  • Analytics and Performance: Utilize data and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness and impact of content. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize content strategies and engagement.
  • Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies and best practices in content creation, digital media and healthcare communications. Identify opportunities for innovation and propose new approaches to enhance audience engagement.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in digital marketing, communications, journalism or related fields that includes podcast production.
