We are recruiting for an Associate Consultant, Insurance (“Associate Consultant”) to join our nationwide insurance team.

This position affords an immediate opportunity to contribute as an integral member of a team delivering a broad and diverse range of client insurance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

The role provides extensive client-facing opportunities and is purposely designed to provide broad-based exposure to the design, development, and implementation aspects of insurance coverages. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·       Executing insurance analyses and securing appropriate coverages and levels of coverages that involve developing business solutions and responsible advice for clients.

·       Research/learn new insurance trends related to the industry. May serve as the Practice's expert in certain types of coverages.

·       Develop quote memos, marketing collateral, and review client deliverables (including emails) for accuracy and quality.

·       As appropriate, performing as a client contact on a day-to-day basis, sustaining effective advisory rapport with clients, and contributing in meaningful ways to the creative and problem-solving thought processes.

·       Assist with pricing proposals, attending finalist interviews, trustee meetings, researching prospects, and other business development activities as sometimes requested. 

·       A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience within an insurance firm, consulting firm, broker and/or progressive corporate environment. Work experience must include involvement in the analysis and delivery of a broad range of insurance coverages including Cyber; D&O; Professional Liability; P&C insurance advice.

·       Bachelor's degree any major with a quantitative or risk curriculum and a writing component.

·       Current insurance licenses in relevant geographies or ability to secure such licenses within 30 days.

·       Industry credentials including Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU); Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation highly preferred.

·       Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative ability.

·       Effective interpersonal and communication skills (oral / writing) along with ability to interact with a diverse audience of colleagues and clients.

The current salary range for this position is $84,000 to $105,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
