Electro-Mechanical Project Engineer II (Finance)

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our engineering projects by leading project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with company objectives and customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support and execute activities/tasks/subtasks on program/projects associated with New Product Development (NPD), New Product Introduction (NPI)/Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP), and/or In-Service Related (IRB) for Motion Control Systems (MCS) products with moderate supervision and/or mentorship of more experienced Project Engineers
• Gain knowledge of program/project management application skills and business tools/applications to plan/execute to program/project related activities and subtasks associated with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Gain knowledge of system and component requirements analysis and decomposition
• Gain knowledge of fundamental control architecture and design
• Gain knowledge of physics-based model development and system design
• Able to lead investigation of small-to-medium complexity technical issues to identify root cause and corrective action including planning, execution, and resolution
• Gain knowledge of Electro-Mechanical systems Validation & Verification (V&V) for testing, documentation, and analysis to meet program/project objectives
• May interface with customers and/or suppliers on technical issues
• Develop good communication skills to provide clarity and succinct communication of project issues
• Less than 5% of domestic US travel and/or less than 2% of international travel (if necessary)

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as engineering, sciences, technology, or mathematics
• Minimum two (2) years of Engineering experience in Aerospace Systems
