Centra has an opportunity for a Consumer Loan Operations Sr. Processing Specialist at our location Corporate Headquarters in Columbus, Indiana. Consumer Loan Operations Senior Processing Specialist responsible for assisting the Director Consumer Loan Processing with the efficient and effective management of the Consumer Loan Operation's Processing Team. This position assists the Director Consumer Loan Processing with Team Member development, coaching, and counseling as needed, and training to ensure consistent adherence to Service Level Agreement and Centra Service Standards. This position is responsible for the processing and closing of Consumer Direct and Indirect loan products.
The minimum starting wage for this opportunity is $23.70 per hour.
Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.

- Reviews and prepares all Consumer loan types for timeliness, accuracy and compliance with processes, documentation, and lien perfections.
- Reviews application for Consumer Direct loan products to determine that all required items have been collected for the file.
- Supports the mailing out and/or processing payoffs for both external and internal accounts
- Funds all Consumer loan products to Centra core system
- Assists with loan servicing of all Consumer loan products and services
- Inputs accurate HMDA information for all Consumer Real Estate loan products
- Responsible for providing all Consumer real estate loan disclosures to Members
- Orders services and reviews (appraisal, title, flood) for Consumer Real Estate loan products
- Responds to requests from Team Members or identifies areas of needed education through a variety of communication tools such as email, intranet communications, training, Team meetings, etc. Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of Consumer Lending products and services.
- Collaborates and communicates with Retail Team Members regarding procedure and training updates, process improvement opportunities, quality control, loan closing or servicing needs, etc.
- Logs and reviews file for Indirect loan products to determine that all required items have been collected for the file.
- Assists in the coaching and training of Consumer Loan Processors in this area of responsibility.
- Communicates with dealer partners when items are missing from the file or when the dealer has funding questions.
- Participates in department projects or projects across Centra for Consumer Lending expertise.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
