Customer Support Specialist (Administrative)



JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for all aftermarket and production requests as well as generating pertinent shipping documentation and invoicing for production and aftermarket orders.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Generates invoices and shipping documents (Bill of Ladings/Waybills) for all Production and Aftermarket sale orders. Updates MRP system with sales orders Bill of Lading and Waybill tracking information. Submits invoices to customers via email or through customers ERP system. Support creation of RSPL (Recommended Spares Parts List) and all relevant documents. Supports Program management with creation of change request and other administrative tasks. Interfaces with internal team members (Planning, Quality Assurance, Program Management) on orders status; provides periodic and routine status updates. Documents and communicates customer feedback in relevant system. Reviews data for accuracy and makes corrections as necessary. Investigates and resolves delivery issues with customers as necessary. Files all shipping documentation in ERP system. Maintains a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures. Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains and protects the confidentiality of the Companys information and products. Performs other duties and projects as assigned or requested. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:
High School diploma preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related capacity within a manufacturing environment preferred or bachelors degree in related field.

Skills:
Problem solving/analysis; communication proficiency (written and verbal); time management; ability to work in a team and autonomously. Computer proficiency, specifically with database entry and Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency with shipping items via Fed-Ex and UPS preferred.

Other:
May be asked to work extended or irregular hours as required. Must show proof of ability to work in the United States. SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITION
Direction is provided in terms of tasks. Work is reviewed upon completion on how well tasks have been completed. Will autonomously on routine tasks with frequent or occasional status updates with supervisor, as necessary. Will be provided with additional guidance on more complex or non-routine tasks.

Ability to work independently to execute tasks that comply with instructions or pre-determined processes, methods, and/or practices. May work with supervisor for complex problems or issues.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
