What You'll Get to Do

The Machine Operator 1 is focused on operating machinery to fabricate glass and reports to the Fabrication Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, with strong mechanical aptitude, and a team player who prioritizes safety in every task.  A vital member of the Fabrication Department this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Set up, operate, and calibrate CNC/Edger machines per job specifications.
• Read blueprints, process work orders, and complete required documentation.
• Measure, inspect, and ensure quality of fabricated glass.
• Safely load/unload glass, using overhead cranes when needed.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and rotate between machines as required

What We Are Looking For

• Basic computer skills for data entry.
• 6–12 months of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform calculations with fractions/decimals.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
