Sales Service Technician (Sales)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support goals and objectives.
Collaborate with customers to ensure Halton products are specified for their projects.
Provide expert technical advice on Halton products and solutions.
Support internal sales teams with technical insights and troubleshooting.
Recommend product modifications or new designs to meet customer needs.
Diagnose and resolve issues with installed equipment, both remotely and on-site.
Drive sales growth by achieving annual sales targets and generating Ship Segment sales.
Perform actual product installation of retrofit
Manage service-related sales and field repairs.
Ensure high-quality outcomes from service contractors.
Offer feedback and assistance to Sales Engineers as needed.
Travel frequently (Up to 70%), including extended trips (up to one month) and up to three months of international travel for initial training.
Qualifications
Associates degree in Mechatronics required, and a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field a plus.
Strong understanding of or ability to learn Halton product functionality, with emphasis on integrated mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Knowledge of electrical circuitry, control systems, and automationcore elements of mechatronics.
Sales acumen or willingness to develop skills in pricing and customer relationship management.
Familiarity with field service project requirements and processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic AutoCAD skills.
Experience or ability to learn Halton software tools: HOT, HST, HELP, HEAT, HIT.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus.
Valid passport required, 70% of work is travel basis and international.

Work in both climate-controlled and non-controlled environments. Exposure to hot surfaces, moving mechanical parts, sharp edges, and welding flash. Presence of forklift and skid traffic. Occasional exposure to sea motion during fieldwork.
