Advancement Administrator (Finance)



The USF Alumni Association (USFAA) is a 501 (c)(3), non-profit, Direct Support Organization of the University of South Florida. The Alumni Association connects and engages alumni, fostering a mutually beneficial, lifelong relationship with the university; supports students instilling a culture of giving back to USF, and advocates to promote, protect and preserve the University of South Florida. All alumni are considered members of the Alumni Association, and the organization serves and supports more than 378,000 alumni worldwide.

This Advancement Administrator provides high level, confidential administrative support to the Vice President of the Alumni Association within the Division of University Advancement, and also serves as Coordinator for Alumni Association Board of Directors.Minimum Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred and five or more years experience supporting a development/engagement executive in an institution of higher education. Outstanding verbal and written communications and organization skills. Strong social skills and experience working with VIPs and board members. Experience with CRMs and all components of Microsoft Office Suite of applications.

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.

Serve as coordinator for the USF Alumni Association Board of Directors responsible for managing and scheduling board and committee meetings, creating and distributing materials and coordinating meeting logistics.

Responsible for membership packet fulfillment and administrative support for Alumni Association signature events.

Maintain Alumni Association office supplies and order donor gifts to be used for stewardship purposes.

Manage and train Alumni Association student assistants.
