Inventory Analyst (Finance)
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the transformer selection process. This process includes requests for inventory selection at both the order and quote stage. The inventory analyst is responsible for the update and correction of yard equipment inventory cards and creating Ready-To-Ship inventory cards. The inventory analyst will make units reservations, issue units to jobs, add incoming units to the transfer log, and ensure that accurate transactions are taking place to support the enterprise inventory goals. Repair units that have transferred ownership to Sunbelt Solomon will be dispositioned by the inventory analyst. These tasks will be performed on a daily cadence to meet the needs of the facility. The Inventory Specialist will also be responsible for participating in the continuous improvement process, removing obstacles and focusing on the provision of solutions. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.
Demonstrate a high sense of urgency providing timely responses with a high degree of accuracy selecting the best quality units available.
Keep apprised of unit inventory at Sunbelt Solomon site. When units requested are not available alternate solutions are presented.
Communicate inventory shortages and manage escalation of any deficit that blocks order fulfillment.
Must know the differences of the product classes and what values each holds regarding inventory best used for reconditioning and inventory best used for rewind. (excluding substations)
Assisting with running warehouse reports when needed to help keep inventory as accurate as possible.
Evaluate inventory data and ensure accuracy
Assist as needed in performing yard scans to verify inventory and location
Add units to the transfer log and follow up on delivery, escalating any issues that block order fulfillment.
Supporting sales team with inventory queries and requests
Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
Other assigned duties as needed.
