HSE Supervisor (Finance)



As a HSE Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's health, safety, and environmental efforts. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in safety. You will report directly to the Sr. HSE Manager, and you'll work a hybrid schedule. Note: New Hires must report onsite M-F for the first 90 days.

In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
  • Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, ensuring efficient and effective HSE practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
  • Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in HSE field work (construction, maintenance, and field services)
  • 3+ years of experience in leading and managing a team
  • 3+ years of experience working with subcontractors
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
