Job Overview

As a JIRA Application Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining solutions within the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira and Confluence). You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement custom workflows, automate processes, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise tools.

Core Responsibilities

Jira Project Creation & Workflow Management

• Design and configure Jira projects tailored to team needs.
• Evaluate and improve ticket workflows for efficiency and consistency
• Implement custom XML-based Jira gadgets and dashboards.

Atlassian Licensing & Plugin Management

• Manage Atlassian product licenses and evaluate plugin needs.
• Test, install, and configure Jira and Confluence plugins.
• Maintain integrations with third-party tools like JEMH and Bamboo.

Jira & Confluence Reorganization

• Audit and restructure user groups, roles, and permissions.
• Clean up inactive or redundant Jira projects and Confluence pages.
• Migrate legacy Confluence content to modern formats and editors.

System Administration & Performance

• Conduct performance reviews of Jira and Confluence configurations.
• Plan and execute system upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Configure Single Sign-On and manage user authentication.

Training & Documentation

• Provide training and support for end-users.
• Document workflows, configurations, and runbooks.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian tools.
• Strong experience with Jira Service Management, Advanced Roadmaps, and automation rules.
• Experience developing custom Atlassian plugins (Java or Atlassian SDK is a plus).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Nice to Have

• Atlassian Certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120, etc.)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices
• Knowledge of cloud and server/dc environments
