Business Systems Analyst – Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP - *Hybrid (Finance)



The specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience and location.

“A Day in the Life”

As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will perform a functional application analyst role supporting and delivering key initiatives, including but not limited to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. You'll act as a change agent—identifying areas for improvement, conducting root cause analysis, and driving execution. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a proven track record in problem-solving and issue resolution.

You will facilitate cross-functional discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, and serve as a subject matter expert in your domain. You'll work closely with McGrath's technical development and integration teams to ensure successful delivery of business and technology solutions.

“What You'll Do”

  • Serve as a functional analyst supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and related applications across Operations and Finance.
  • Plan, design, and implement efficient business, financial, and operational systems to support organizational goals.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, scope definition, Systems Feasibility Analysis, and documentation with non-technical business users.
  • Support interfaces between Oracle Fusion Cloud and Other systems.
  • Analyze business processes and operational needs to support ERP configuration, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional specifications and process flows.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support and manage testing, training, and change management during releases, patches, and module deployments.
  • Create, manage and perform system-testing activities for releases and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with system administrators for code migration for releases and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and support period close processes and assist with month-end reconciliation.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and customizations.
  • Collaborates with Internal and External Audit teams to ensure compliance with SOX requirements across auditable enterprise applications.
  • Participate in implementation, conversion, and upgrade projects.
  • Actively participate in Agile project scrums across multiple workstreams to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

“Must Haves”

  • 8+ years of experience as a functional analyst in enterprise applications (Finance, Operations, Sales, Distribution, Planning).

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (especially financial modules).
  • Experience with system interfaces, testing plans, and code migrations.
  • Ability to write functional and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
  • Ability to manage team of users for testing events.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with on-site and offshore teams.
  • Experience supporting audit and compliance processes.
  • Customer service orientation and self-motivation.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating computers and related technology, including the ability to efficiently navigate and utilize business applications, software, and peripheral equipment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Familiarity with rental/lease business processes.
  • Experience with data import/export for reporting and analysis.

  • Hybrid work model (remote and on-site).
