GROCERY/MARKDOWN COORDINATOR (Finance)

  • 18 years of age
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Store operations, fresh and/or non-perishable experience
  • Familiar with the Zebra functionality (TC-52) and markdown equipment
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Ability to work in the cold and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Meticulous, highly organized, and able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Desired

  • Retail experience
  • Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, safety and food safety regulations, and company guidelines
  • Promote trust and respect among associates
  • Work any shift as needed, including early mornings; demonstrate dependability
  • Perform daily code checks, product rotation, and process price reductions for both fresh and non-perishable departments.
  • Utilize the Zebra (TC-52) and markdown equipment
  • Coach/train responsibilities to back-up coordinator
  • Display a positive attitude and sense of urgency
  • Understand company code dating, rotation, and markdown policies
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, providing feedback to the back-up coordinator, department leaders, and store leadership
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
  • Report all safety risks, customer or associate accidents, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
