Sr Process Engineering & Controls Manager (Finance)



You will report directly to our Engineering Director, and you'll work out of either of our Gulf Coast sites on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, your impact will be comprehensive and far-reaching, encompassing strategic leadership, process efficiency, quality assurance, data analysis, reporting, timely delivery, issue resolution, cost management, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, risk management, mentoring and development, compliance, strategic planning, process documentation, and organizational growth. You are instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and enhancement of processes and projects, contributing to the organization's overall success and competitiveness in the market.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering or related roles.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and control systems.

  • Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience in leading process engineering teams.

THE BUSINESS UNIT

  • Oversee and direct the functions related to process engineering and process control.
  • Manage the design, execution, and enhancement of manufacturing processes while ensuring they remain efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead a team of engineers in close collaboration with various departments, applying data-driven approaches to pinpoint and rectify process challenges, thus fostering continuous improvement.
  • Examine production data to identify bottlenecks, implementing solutions aimed at boosting efficiency, lowering costs, and improving product quality.
  • Work together with R&D and site teams to develop and implement engineering strategies that enhance process technology efficiency and promote sustainability for both existing and forthcoming technologies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and adherence to engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) to upgrade Distributed Control Solution (DCS) processes, focusing on identifying cost-effective solutions while playing a significant role in automation and ongoing improvement initiatives.
