Community Outreach & Engagement Manager (Project Management)

Who You Are:
Amoskeag Health is seeking a Community Outreach & Engagement Manager to lead wellness, prevention, and education initiatives across Manchester and Greater Manchester. This role manages contract-specific programs aligned with Amoskeag Healths Strategic Plan, collaborates with internal leadership and external partners, and facilitates community stakeholder groups focused on prevention and population health. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and relationship-builder, passionate about improving community wellness and driving impactful, scalable initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Supervise program staff including hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and evaluation; maintain a competent and engaged team including Navigators, Newborn Navigator, PREP staff, ACERT Supervisor, and others as applicable.

Monitor direct reports performance toward strategic and operational goals; ensure use of best practices and evidence-based methodologies through training, mentoring, and chart audits for quality and timely documentation.

Manage planning and implementation activities with local social service agencies related to focus populations and wellness/prevention strategies.

Facilitate/co-facilitate the Manchester LAUNCH Family Wellness Collaborative, LAUNCH/Region 4 Early Childhood Leadership Team, and additional collaboratives as assigned.

Develop agendas for collaboratives related to prevention and integration activities; coordinate local/state policy efforts; support planning and implementation; assist with program execution; resolve barriers; and recruit, engage, and support members.

Manage early childhood wellness/prevention activities in Manchester/Greater Manchester through programs like LAUNCH, Ready Set LAUNCH, and parent/family engagement initiatives such as Parent Caf and parent education.

Oversee the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP), including evidence-based health, pregnancy/STI prevention, and relationship programming; manage budget, contracts, staff, and community partnerships.

Oversee ACERT-Manchester in collaboration with Core Partners and community agencies; assess practices, support implementation, ensure program sustainability, secure funding, and supervise ACERT staff.

Develop and execute contracts with subrecipient agencies and vendors.

Assist in grant search, writing, and submission for existing and new program initiatives.

Provide data for performance reporting and evaluation; collaborate with evaluators or data quality staff for accurate collection and reporting.

Collaborate with the local system to implement evidence-based practices, workforce development, and community engagement.

Implement and oversee new community wellness, prevention, and education programs as funded.

Support community outreach and education via presentations, event representation, and promotion of wellness initiatives; assist in coordination of agency participation at tabling events.

Promote the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) framework to providers and stakeholders; maintain facilitator credentials and offer related trainings and presentations.
