The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a(n) Procurement Process and Technology Project Leader , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Project Leadership:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement-related initiatives, from concept through execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Strategic Planning & Alignment:
    Translate business goals into clear, actionable procurement strategies and project plans that align with overall company priorities and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Partner effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Finance, and IT) to align procurement initiatives with broader operational and product development timelines.
  • Technology Roadmap & Enablement:
    Contribute to the development and execution of the procurement technology roadmap. Define and document requirements for systems, tools, and digital workflows to improve sourcing efficiency and visibility.
  • Communication & Change Management:
    Serve as the primary communication bridge across departments, providing clear updates, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring project transparency at all levels.
  • Requirements Gathering & Process Design:
    Lead the collection and synthesis of business requirements to support tool selection, process redesign, or capability enhancements. Map current and future-state procurement workflows.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight:
    Ensure procurement initiatives adhere to medical device regulatory requirements and company compliance standards.
  • Performance Measurement:
    Define KPIs and success metrics for each initiative. Track progress and report outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Process/ Tool Optimization and Standard Work:
  • Engage cross functional teams to value stream map current vs future state people, process and tools to address critical business user stories.
  • Tool Implementation & Support:
  • Assist in procedure development, training and rollout of new IT and analytics tools for both internal and external users to streamline procurement operations and enhance data capabilities across the organization.
  • Insight Delivery:
  • Translate complex data sets into meaningful insights and actionable strategies that drive business performance, supplier collaboration, and procurement excellence.
  • Data & Governance: Identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and strategic sourcing improvements through data insights and analytics. Define and address key master data elements and ensure governance and performance indicators are clearly defined and measurable.
  • Dashboard & Report Development: Support the design, development, and maintenance of dynamic, visually compelling Power BI dashboards

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project management roles, ideally within the medical device, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing industries.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND twelve (12) years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project management roles, ideally within the medical device, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing industries.

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Knowledge of sourcing systems, digital procurement platforms, and technology enablement.
  • Proven expertise in Power BI (including Power Query and data modeling)
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies and decisions (ERP, SAP, Ariba, Excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of FDA/GxP compliance and ISO standards relevant to medical device manufacturing.

  • Expertise in master data management and governance within supply chain

Work location: Remote - United States

Travel: May include up to 10% [domestic/international]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
