Enterprise Integration Engineer (Finance)

Job Description Summary:
The Enterprise Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining system integrations using iPaaS systems. This role focuses on enabling data flow across platforms through scalable, reliable, and well-documented integrations. The engineer will work across various types of integrations, including data migration, data enrichment, and data synchronization, using both Point-to-Point and Hub-and-Spoke architectural patterns.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using iPaaS systems, adhering to best practices and company architecture standards.
• Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders - including platform owners, subject matter experts, data teams, and business analysts - to gather detailed integration requirements and translate them into scalable, technical designs.
• Conduct discovery sessions and lead technical discussions to clarify use cases, transformation logic, and scheduling needs.
• Ensure consistent and accurate synchronization of master data entities (e.g., customers, vendors, products) across multiple systems through robust integration workflows.
• Configure and manage integration endpoints, error handling, and logging to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Monitor production integrations and respond to alerts in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
• Work closely with the cross-functional groups to test integrations during ERP, HRIS, or other third-party application patch releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performing impact analysis and root cause diagnostics.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for integration flows, data mappings, dependencies, and operational procedures.
• Ensure all integration designs comply with data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Manage and coordinate work with third-party consultants or vendor teams to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with SOLV's architecture standards and delivery timelines.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in an application or IT support role.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise-level application integrations.
• Direct, hands-on experience developing and supporting service interfaces in middleware and iPaaS solutions; Boomi AtomSphere preferred.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data flow design.
• Strong understanding of MDM principles, data quality standards, and their practical application in integration patterns such as data enrichment, harmonization, and synchronization.
• Proficiency in working with REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, and data transformation tools within Boomi.
• Experience with securing integration scenarios using appropriate authentication, authorization, non-repudiation, and data encryption methods.
• Understanding of RDBMS principles and experience writing SQL statements.
• Familiarity with data governance, auditing, and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Boomi Flow or similar tools for enrichment logic.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure to agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Clear communication and documentation abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
