Physician Informaticist, Acute Care (Finance)



Work Schedule :

This is a .2 FTE position; the schedule will be created in collaboration with the hiring leader. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Physician Informaticist - Acute Care to:

  • Be a system-level thinker with the ability to bridge organizational silos, engage and align clinicians, and drive cultural change through positive, professional relationships.
  • Demonstrate UW Health Leadership Competencies, foster a culture of excellence and performance management, and collaborate with administrative partners to create a patient-centered, team-based care environment that values every team member.
  • Serve as a physician leader for UW Health acute care services, offering clinical and healthcare technology insights to care teams and technology support teams.

Education :
  • Board Certified Primary Specialty-Required
  • Training/Education in Clinical Informatics-Preferred

Work Experience :
  • Clinical Practice-Required
  • Ideal candidate would have minimum of 3 years clinical practice at faculty level. Experience in implementation/optimization of health IT systems or experience in leading departmental/system level change -Preferred

Certifications :
  • MD/DO-Required
  • Board Certified in Clinical Informatics-Preferred
