Lead Software Engineer – Real Estate (SAP) (Information Technology)

The Finance and Purchasing team supports all the financial applications in our SAP ERP system including Accounts Payables/Receivables, Asset Accounting, General Ledger, Payments Processing, Project Systems, Real Estate, Tax and FI integration with Logistics modules. You will support design, development, and deployment of new SAP Finance solutions, mainly on real estate applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate on cross-functional project teams in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate (RE-FX) to design, develop and implement SAP applications.
  • Gather business requirements and translate into system design and reporting capabilities.
  • Design system solutions, write functional specification documents for various RICEFW objects, perform functional configurations, perform unit testing, coordinate integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and resolve issues reported during hyper-care.
  • Configure SAP to implement solutions in the Finance area with an emphasis in Real Estate (RE-FX).
  • Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to create, maintain and test application functionality to ensure implementations are successful.
  • Test application functionality as well as custom SAP programs
  • Assist with resolution of SAP incidents and problems.
  • Validate the deployment of SAP system changes into a production environment.
  • Provide production support to the business areas for SAP Finance Real Estate applications.
  • Assist with support of integration within SAP and interfaces between SAP and other systems.

#LI-JB1 •    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
•    5+ years of software engineering experience
•    5+ years of experience with SAP solutions designing and configuring SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) including Contract Management, Balance Sheet Valuation of Contracts with Asset Integration, Integration with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and the CAM Expense Recovery Add-On
•    Experience understanding software applications and translating business requirements into functional configuration requirements.
•    Experience reading and understanding system requirements and designing deliverables.
•    Experience with software testing and following testing standards
•    Experience working on teams using Agile methodology.

  •            7+ years of experience with SAP's S/4 HANA Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically the Finance modules: Assets, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Controlling and integration with Materials Management/Plant Management/Product Cost Controlling
•            7+ years of business experience involving extensive research and analytical skills.
•            Experience with SAP Finance modules: Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Concur Travel & Expense and/or Vertex.
•            Experience working with the Finance modules in an S/4 HANA landscape.
•            Experience with implementing Finance Fiori applications for business users
•            Experience working with SAP BW to perform analysis including setting up new data sources.
•            Experience working with Embedded Analytics in an S/4 HANA system.
