Sr Security Professional (Finance)



In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

As a Security Professional, you will use open source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to business operations and its employees. You will create detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting systems and assist in the response to larger incidents that impact Honeywell and develop protocols and practices to drive efficiency and to manage critical events.

The Security Professional will help to continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support global physical security operations, analyzing threats and vulnerabilities
  • Coordinate security response with contracted security providers globally.
  • Provide physical security guidance to employees, customers and suppliers globally.
  • Review contract security officers physical security incident reports.
  • Write and publish security incident investigation reports, physical security event plans, and contingent workers strike plans to provide situational awareness and communicate risks to local sites and executive management.
  • Collect, evaluate, and disseminate intelligence to support business operations and employees operating across the globe.
  • Proactively use open source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the Honeywell SBGs, and employees
  • Monitor the security of employee worldwide in response to natural disasters and world events

The salary range for this position is $84,800 - $105,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

  • 6 or more years in a senior physical security management role is required
  • Must be well versed in current technologies and open source search methodologies
  • Must be able to effectively and confidently disseminate information to individuals, groups, peers, clients, executives and stakeholders
  • Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Prepare written reports of incidents in the proper format and with correct grammar and spelling
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations
