Job Summary

We are seeking a bilingual Human Resources Generalist fluent in English and Spanish to support our diverse workforce. This role partners with HR and Operations leadership to implement HR strategies, ensure compliance, and enhance the employee experience across multiple locations.

Job Location

  • This position is hybrid and located at our office in Irving, TX.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for Spanish-speaking employees, including translation of HR documents and communications.
  • Partner with employees and leadership to communicate HR and payroll policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Provide on-site HR support at various locations, maintaining flexible hours to accommodate multiple shifts.
  • Support employee relations and uphold Oldcastle APG's culture and values.
  • Assist in organizational assessments and recommend improvements to structure and competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
  • Lead onboarding processes including recruiting, interviewing, background checks, and drug screenings.
  • Administer benefits including enrollments, changes, and employee assistance programs.
  • Process and manage payroll, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and recommend strategies to improve workplace culture and retention.
  • Collaborate with leadership to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, based on business needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (Workday preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with flexibility to support multiple shifts.
