Manufacturing Quality Supervisor (Engineering)

What you will do
The Manufacturing Quality Supervisor directs, coordinates and controls support activities at the site to achieve established management goals.  Owns development and ongoing improvement of the following programs: Quality Plan/IATF implementation/StandardWork, PM/TPM, 5S/Problem Solving/Layered Audits, and Training.

How you will do it

• Helps build the site quality plan, processes, procedures, contributes to ISO/IATF certification if required
• Build and conduct layered audits for each area and regularly review them for effectiveness through team meetings and practice.
• Coordinates the day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure plant machinery and production processes function reliably and safely, arranges for proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Own and implement improvements in job methods and procedures.
• Builds and coaches teams in CI practices including 5S, problem solving, and layered audits.
• Solicits and encourages process, procedure, and equipment improvements from team members.
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Flexible and able to contribute and cross train in any needed discipline at the site.
• Ability to understand various departments within the business and functional areas.
• Track record of driving change, building understanding and knowledge within the target audience.
•  Organization and communication effectiveness to push projects, timelines, and milestones. Strong planning, prioritizing, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor's Degree, Engineering, Business, or Operations preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of prior manufacturing Supervisory/Quality/Technical experience

Preferred

• Prior experience in a manufacturing and distribution center environment preferred
