Continuous Improvement Intern (Construction)

What You'll Get to Do

The Intern is focused on improving the current process and reports to the CI Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who is willing to learn and make an impact .  A vital member of the Continuous Improvement group, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to map existing manufacturing processes.
• Develop and digitize standard work instructions using Dozuki's AI technology and authoring tools.
• Assist in structuring Dozuki's system hierarchy to align with product families and workflows.
• Capture and edit photos, videos, and diagrams for clear, engaging instruction sets.
• Conduct floor walkthroughs to observe and document key steps in manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Train operators and supervisors on accessing and navigating the Dozuki platform.
• Analyze feedback from users and assist in optimizing content and navigation.
• Support the integration of Dozuki with existing quality and training systems.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects related to lean documentation, training standardization, and knowledge management.
• Other duties as assigned. 

What We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process documentation, or standard work development is preferred.
• Strong written and visual communication skills.
• Comfortable using tablets, cameras, and software tools for capturing and editing media.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Previous exposure to platforms like Dozuki, or similar systems is a plus.
