Bakery BOH (FT) (Food Services)

If you enjoy baked goods in a gourmet store environment, you will love our Bakery Clerk (BOH) position! We have an immediate need for a FT Bakery Clerk (BOH) in our up and coming store located in Sayville, NY.Our Bakery Clerk (BOH) are responsible for packing out bakery items, traying and baking croissants, muffins, and cookies. This individual will also make pizza dough for our pizza department.

Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environmentPrepare dough, pack bakery items, prepare bakery cookies, cakes, pastry, etc. for oven baking. Remove all baked good from oven onto cooling racks to prepare them for next steps (decorating, piping, boxing, etc)Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with Uncle Giuseppe's standardsMaintain and properly use all department equipment as requireRotate products to ensure freshness of our gourmet pastry and bakery productsOther duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
Must enjoy working with baked goods with a positive attitude towards learning new skillsFlexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.A team work approach and a desire to work with gourmet baked goods is required
