Interactive Designer (Finance)



Nemours is seeking an Interactive Designer in our Wilmington, DE Office.

The Interactive Designer is responsible for supporting Design Services with the ongoing production and maintenance of Nemours' digital properties. This includes creating and updating digital content for web, email, ads, and other communication channels. The Interactive Designer will produce animations and interactive content which can require working with voiceover talent to produce high fidelity audio tracks. This individual will also function as a support for print, digital signage, environmental graphics, internal communications and social media.

Reporting to the Illustration and Interactive Design Manager, this individual will help manage files in our Digital Asset Management System to increase shared utilization of common assets.

Essential Functions

1. Design & Content Creation
Develop and produce high-quality digital content including animations, graphics, and layouts for web, email, print, digital signage, and social media. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and skilled in adapting imagery across responsive breakpoints and formats.

2. Environmental & Large-Format Graphics
Design environmental graphics with an understanding of large-format printing and how visuals translate across physical spaces and signage applications.

3. Web & CMS Production
Build and maintain content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), handling tasks such as uploading assets, creating new pages, and organizing files in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.

4. User Interface & Accessibility
Improve digital user experiences by applying accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0), suggesting design solutions, and maintaining consistency through documentation, style guides, and visual pattern libraries. Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, marketing partners, and business stakeholders to deliver design solutions that meet both user needs, goals and brand standards.

6. Strategic & User-Centered Thinking
Translate business and brand goals into compelling digital experiences. Apply a user-focused approach to all creative problem-solving and design execution.

7. Technical Proficiency
Understand file optimization, web color theory, cross-browser functionality, compression standards, and print production best practices.

8. Continuous Learning & Documentation
Stay current with tools, platforms, and design trends. Willingness to learn platforms like Vyond or Ceros. Maintain clean, shareable files and contribute to team knowledge-sharing efforts.

9. Agile Workflow & Project Management
Operate effectively within an Agile environment using JIRA to manage tasks, track progress, and communicate updates. Must be able to pivot quickly between projects and priorities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3- 5 years experience in Digital Media Design, Fine Arts or related field is desired.
