Surgical Services Supply Clerk (Finance)



Work Schedule :

This is a full-time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Surgical Services Supply Clerk to:

  • Effectively and efficiently fulfill all requests for medical/surgical supplies, so they are readily available to all clinicians in the UW Hospital operating rooms.
  • Support Surgical Services by using the Materials Management system and bar code technology to perform a wide array of materials management activities.
  • Ensure that all emergency carts are complete and urgently deliver patient medical equipment when needed.
  • Demonstrate technical ability and follow job expectations and organizational policies/procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Work Experience

  • Materials management experience in any industry (healthcare experience not required) (Required)
  • One year materials management experience in a healthcare environment (Preferred)
