Mechanic - Heavy Duty Trucks (Maintenance)
- Maintain Blasters Liquidator fleet by performing daily service and repairs on contracting trucks. This includes minor chassis service and repair, service/repair/replace the high-pressure water system, and vacuum system, when needed.
- Basic electrical knowledge is required.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and complete necessary documentation that work is completed
- May have to occasionally repair a Liquidator on a job site.
- Inspect and diagnose customer and company owned equipment, and perform necessary repairs for equipment to be fully operational
- Inspect submitted service reports daily from Blaster Liquidator operators and address or repair and immediate needs while scheduling the rest of repairs with Production Manager based on contracting's work schedule.
- As needed, work with Liquidator manufacturing on new builds and/or customer owned units needing service or repair.
- Class B CDL with tank endorsement preferred but not required
- Demonstrate equipment to potential customers, as requested
- Perform basic user training for operators/customers
- Actively participate in continuous improvements of our products and processes to better serve our operators and customers to help improve the overall profitability of Liquidator and Liquidator customers.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and advise immediate supervisor of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved.
- Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Minimum two (3) years of maintenance experience including but not limited to, industrial equipment such as pumps and motors, required.
- Valid Driver License, required
- Ability to obtain Forklift certificate
Pay Transparency
Anticipated wage/salary range: $26/hour - $31/hour depending on number of years of relevant previous experience.
