Job Summary:

The Production Planner is responsible for analyzing customer demand, converting it into a production plan according to capacity, as well as monitoring its compliance for delivery to the customer on time. The Planner is also responsible for identifying and notifying risks for the fulfilment of said plan both to the plant and to the client.

Essential functions of the job:

  • Check compliance with production programs in volume and mix to meet required customer demand. 
  • Establish a schedule for each client ensuring that the finished product is in the warehouse of shipments. 
  • Comply with the inventory goal KPI's, regular freight and Premium freight. ·
  • Ensure compliance with the procedures of YF iOS, MMSA, MMOG, ISO TS to be successful in audits. 
  • Analyse finished product inventory, preparation of control and reduction plan. ·
  • Daily review in conjunction with the raw material planners to validate that the material required to execute the production programs is available. 
  • Analyse customer releases for the preparation of weekly production programs, leading the weekly trends meeting that takes place with the other departments to review capacities and possible restriction for the execution of the programs.
  • Monitor and control of Obsolescence, follow-up to Build Outs. 
  • Monitor and support launches, ensuring satisfactory. 
  • Rough Cut Capacity Plan preformed for each area.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Supply Chain Management or similar.

 Required qualifications:

  • 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience.
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
  • Must be organized and able to communicate well with others.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty, satisfactorily.
