Territory Manager (Finance)



Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to oversee sales and service operations within a designated geographic area. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality industrial products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base by prospecting and cold calling.
    • Present and promote Pioneer Industrial's product offerings, including control valves, fluid sealing solutions, and rotating equipment pressure relief valves, control and isolation valves, fluid sealing, actuation solutions, rotating equipment, and environmental and safety instrumentation equipment, to prospective customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular visits and communication.
    • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Service Coordination:
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services.
    • Oversee the execution of service contracts, including valve repairs, seal replacements, and equipment maintenance.
    • Monitor service quality and implement improvements, as necessary.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
    • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote Pioneer Industrial's brand and offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required.
    • Equivalent experience, demonstrated success in a similar role, or a strong track record of performance will also be considered.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales and service, preferably within the valve, fluid sealing, or rotating equipment sectors.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge of industrial products and services.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
