What You'll Get to Do
The Manufacturing Supervisor II is focused on supervising employees and reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
This role is perfect for an individual who is detailed, organized, and a self-starter. A vital member of the Manufacturing Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Monitor safety performance of the work force
- Conduct daily tool box meetings as well as weekly and monthly safety training
- Ensure quality in all aspects of the department's products
- Processing of reports using the organization's systems (i.e. Vantage and Epics)
- Support programs such as Safety, Quality, 5-S, etc, initiative to make process and cost improvement
- Handle employee relations issues
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years Manufacturing experience is required and prior leadership experience
- (4) year technical degree preferred
- Understanding and experience in the aluminum industry desired
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding & demonstration of all manufacturing and engineering processes and procedures, applicable to areas of responsibility.
- Team player and ability to relate to others
