Marketing Coordinator (Creative Design)



I.             POSITION SUMMARY

              

The Marketing Coordinator assists with creating branded collateral, promotional items, social media campaigns, and marketing activities as required. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting departmental projects, events, and bid submittals as assigned.

II.           POSITION EXPECTATIONS

  • Collaborates with Marketing Manager to prioritize best use of time
  • Receives direction from Marketing Manager and performs tasks as assigned
  • Supports bid completion and submittal process by couriering physical bids to their destinations as needed
  • Supports the Marketing department by generating branded materials and online content
  • Coordinates meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
  • Maintains a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinates the creation of new materials as needed
  • Continually seeks and researches new sources of prospective customer data, and provides recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
  • Assists in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attends them to facilitate their success
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

              

III.          SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

IV.          MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

              

Education, Certifications and /or Licenses:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred

              

Experience:
 

  • 6 months' experience in social media management and/or event coordination preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

              

  • Proficiency with PC and Mac platforms
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Constant Contact
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software, especially for pricing and quoting projects
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs
  • Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team; willingness to roll up sleeves and help the team
  • Ability to manage and organize time to meet objectives and deadlines

V.           PHYSICAL DEMANDS

                             

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to do the following:

  • Perform activities such as balance, bend/stoop, crouch, kneel, push/pull, reach, squat
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 25 pounds in all directions
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work

VI.          WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

This position primarily works in an indoor office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Worksites can be under construction and may not be climate-controlled at time of installation.

VII.          COMPENSATION
 

  • Wage range: $21.00 – 23.00 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis
