Traffic Control Warehouse Manager - Salt Lake City, UT (Sales)

Position Overview

This is a skilled position responsible for overseeing the management of assets related to traffic control, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and tracking of these assets within a warehouse or storage facility. This includes equipment like traffic signals, signage, and other traffic control devices.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Responsible for safety for all personnel at the traffic control warehouse
  • Will manage assets assigned to the traffic control warehouse and ensure equipment is safe and operational
  • Track and monitor all assets assigned to the department and ensure equipment is returned timely and in good condition
  • Responsible for the safety, security and environmental protection of all the assigned traffic control assets, buildings and storage yard.
  • Manage, train and develop all traffic warehouse employees
  • Direct and coordinate daily work schedules and duties for traffic warehouse employees
  • Accurately cost and bill monthly jobs and departments that have used assets from the traffic warehouse.
  • Develop and managing budgets for profit/loss, asset acquisition, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Assist in required management of reporting procedures
  • Will schedule asset needs with all departments
  • Manage and Maintain the Small Fleet vehicles within SWF construction.
  • Assist departments to ensure company vehicles are safely maintained and repaired
  • Must have a basic understanding of FMCSA requirements.
  • Purchase supplies timely and in accordance with our safety policies and regulations
  • Will issue p-cards, track purchases and verify approvals
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Previous asset management experience is a plus

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • Knowledge of Infield, Viewpoint and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of safety and equipment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 25 lbs. Physical agilities test may be required. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. Work Environment
