Production Associate I (Packaging) (Engineering)

Position Summary
The Production Associate I performs functions including trimming, grinding, packaging, labeling, and recordkeeping. This position is an entry-level position and is responsible for rotating between a limited number of functional areas.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Follows instructions given by the manager.
· Gathers, arranges, and sorts materials.
· Processes materials into finished goods.
· Performs quality control checks and ensures uniformity.
· Packages finished goods in store-ready packaging.
· Maintains accurate labeling of all items, SRPs, and batches.
· Produces the required quantity of product within established timeframes and specifications.
· Maintains production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports.
· Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and state regulations.
· Ensures the work area is kept in a clean and safe condition.

· Actively contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following applicable safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.
· Behaves in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
? Must be at least 21 years of age.
? High school diploma or GED required.
? Cannabis or production/manufacturing experience preferred.
? Must have reliable transportation.
? Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.

Physical Requirements
· Frequent repetitive hand motion
· Manual dexterity is needed for manipulating food items and tools.
· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours)
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, including hot and cold items.
· Ability to push and pull.
· Visual acuity is needed to accurately read small screens and labels.

Workplace Environment
· Warehouse/production facility environment with environmental controls
· Consistent moderate background noise level due to machinery and HVAC
· Exposure to keef/dust and cannabis odor
· Exposure to skin contact with plants, to which some individuals may be allergic (PPE provided)
