The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions that meet business requirements and align with the organization's strategic goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, develop architectural frameworks, and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. Your role will involve evaluating technologies, creating solution designs, and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IT solutions that meet business requirements and align with strategic goals.
  • Develop architectural frameworks and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for solution development.
  • Create detailed solution designs, including system architecture, integration, and data flow.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of solution implementation.
  • Prepare and present architectural reports to senior management.
  • Represent IT domain as member of Architecture Review Board (ARB)

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher AND (7) seven years of related IT and Technical experience in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

High School Diploma/GED from AND (14) fourteen years of related experience in a private, public, government or military environment

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Proven experience as an IT Solution Architect or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in solution design tools and software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience in a similar industry or sector.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with mobile and web technologies.
  • AWS, Docker, Jenkins, React, iOS, Android, Swift, Kotlin, etc

Work location: Remote-United States

Travel: May include up to 15% (domestic/international)

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
