Shipping Associate (Fork Lift) (Finance)
Job Description:
Mars Horsecare is looking for a Shipping Associate (Forklift Driver) at the Dalton, Ohio location
What will be my required shift?
1st Shift: Monday- Friday 7am - 3pm
Job Purpose:
The Shipping Associate- Forklift Driver will work with a team of Shipping Associates to stage product, send out product and maintain warehouse organization.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous forklift experience
- Technologically savvy with computers
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-2,000 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping
- Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum 8 hours in one shift)
- Ability to work in hot, cold and wet environments
- Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Shipping or warehouse experience
- Forklift certified
- Experience with ERP systems
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Outbound and Inbound shipments
- Managing and monitoring warehouse and inventory level and planning
- Learning all aspects of Navision ERP system
- Maintain all defined quality and safety practices and procedures
- Loading outbound shipments of ecommerce customers including all labeling procedures and completing all needed paperwork
- Other job functions may be assigned
