Software Product Manager (Finance)



For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $114,400 - $171,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date) , opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Product Manager to work on our Sustainability and Transformation products. What will you do?

As a key leader in our energy & sustainability software team, you will:

  • Lead strategic migration initiatives, guiding enterprise customers through the transition from legacy platforms to next-generation energy management solutions-ensuring a seamless, value-driven, and customer-centric experience.
  • Support hybrid innovation, identifying and implementing targeted enhancements that bring modern capabilities into legacy environments, enabling customers to benefit from innovation without requiring immediate full-scale migration.
  • Shape and execute the product roadmap with a dual focus: enabling transformation readiness while ensuring continuity and performance across the enterprise application.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product design, sales, client management, and marketing to deliver scalable features and enhancements that support customers at every stage of their digital journey.
  • Develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies that support both migration and hybrid adoption paths, including tailored messaging, enablement programs, and adoption frameworks in partnership with sales and marketing.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their transformation goals, operational constraints, and technical requirements-translating insights into actionable product priorities.
  • Define and track key performance indicators related to migration success, hybrid adoption, customer satisfaction, and product performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a thought leader in energy management and digital transformation, representing Schneider Electric at industry events, customer forums, and strategic

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product management, ideally with a focus on enterprise transformation, energy & sustainability management, or digital
  • Demonstrated success in managing product transitions from legacy to modern platforms, with a strong grasp of change management, customer lifecycle strategies, and hybrid product delivery.
  • Deep understanding of energy management technologies, and digital integration best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business audiences.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience defining and tracking transformation-specific KPIs.
  • Familiarity with core software components such as identity management, workflow management, and domain provisioning.
  • Passion for energy & sustainability with a strong desire to make a measurable environmental impact.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or environmental services sectors.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.
  • Certifications in product management, energy & sustainability, or enterprise
