Senior IT Support Technician (Project Management)



Position Summary
Performs a varied range of assignments in supporting the daily functions of the HelpDesk and Information Management Department.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Assist with the first level of HelpDesk support, including but not limited to answering the HelpDesk phone and emails; generating tickets, setting up users profiles and monitoring ticket resolutions. Sometimes will be required to go onsite to provide support.

2. Assist with department communications.

3. Test and provide feedback about user functionality of new and existing systems.

4. Assist with conference room A/V technology.

5. Assist associates with the proper use of IT software and equipment.

6. Participate in after hours call rotation.

7. Assist in the coordination and planning of special meeting and presentation events as a liaison from IT to our end users. In addition to setting equipment up for meetings, educates end user population so as to allow them to help themselves.

8. Work in creation and implementation of light training materials-user guides, how-to sheets etc. for deployed technologies.

9. Assist the Supervisor Networking and Support with System administration task. Including but not limited to account creation, server & network troubleshooting, SaaS administration.

10. Responsible for vendor coordination, ordering of hardware and software, management, and preparation of department invoices.

11. Onboard associates with newly issued IT equipment. Prepare new and replacement equipment for issuance.

12. Assist with the training and mentoring of the IT Support Technician and IT Field Technician positions
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
4 Years' experience in a related field required.
No professional certifications are required for this position.
Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks and sex offender check.
Ability to operate Windows PC and iOS devices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
