Respiratory Therapist - EviCore - Remote (Finance)
Cigna/eviCore's Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating PAP Compliance data from health plan clients' members.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a liaison between DME company and patient by supporting the efforts of DME providers, physicians, and patients to attain compliance with prescribed Pap therapy
- Reviews compliance data and clinical information submitted by providers and DME to appropriate criteria and standards and makes decision to issue a review determination or to refer to physician review if criteria are not met.
- Provides education to DME's on how to upload data to the appropriate platform and intervening with DME providers, physicians, or patients when acceptable compliance is not observed.
- Serves as a resource for members calling for assistance.
- Can be assigned to projects to support the department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active RRT license in the state of residency
- At least 2 years' experience in managed health care required.
- Exposure to a hospital or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must be willing to work Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM EST.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 19 - 29 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
