Nurse & Care Coordination Manager (Healthcare)

Who You Are:
Amoskeag Health is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Nurse & Care Coordination Manager to join our leadership team. You are a licensed RN with strong clinical knowledge and proven experience in managing and mentoring nursing and patient care staff. You bring a balance of compassion, organizational skill, and leadership presence, and you thrive in environments that require flexibility, clear communication, and a team-first approach.Youre passionate about delivering safe, high-quality care, and you enjoy working closely with both clinical staff and senior leadership to improve workflows, patient outcomes, and overall care coordination.

What You'll Do:

Lead, coach, mentor, and evaluate Nursing and Patient Care Coordination staff, including per diem staff.

Oversee staffing, scheduling, and coverage to ensure smooth clinical operations.

Manage departmental budgets, including overtime monitoring and timesheet completion.

Supervise the Immunization Coordinator and oversee the Immunization Program.

Collaborate with the MA Manager and Education team to ensure staff orientation, competency, and training requirements are met.

Partner with leadership on new clinical programs or service enhancements.

Actively participate in organizational committees, including Quality Improvement, Operations, Safety, Infection Prevention and Control, PCMH, and Corporate Compliance.

Oversee clinical operations related to medical supplies, equipment, and vaccination clinics (Covid/Flu).

Be cross-trained to provide support to Nurses and MAs during urgent shortages.

Maintain CPR Trainer certification and FIT testing requirements, coordinating compliance with HR and Education departments.

Ensure accurate, timely medical record documentation for patient care.

Maintain education records for staff and provide annual summaries to Senior Management.

Deliver safety-related in-services and other staff trainings as designated.

Demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural diversity of patients and staff.

Attend and contribute to organizational meetings and trainings.

Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.
