Marketing & Sales Coordinator (Sales)



Genesis Products is seeking a motivated, organized, and energetic individual to join our business development team as a Marketing & Sales Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and contribute across marketing project management and inside sales support. You'll collaborate with multiple departments, assist with campaign execution, and help drive customer engagement and sales outcomes. This role will be focused on supporting our Qwel brand as we drive awareness and adoption of our acoustic ceiling and wall product lines and will report to the Business Development Manager. 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing & Project Management Support 

  • Assist in planning, tracking, and executing marketing initiatives and campaigns. 
  • Support the development of sales strategies through market research and competitive analysis. 
  • Help monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on-time completion. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting project delivery. 
  • Additional background/skills in copywriting or design a plus. 

Inside Sales Support 

  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and address concerns in a positive, professional manner. 
  • Support order fulfillment using internal ERP systems, including communicating delivery dates and managing backorders. 
  • Communicate with various departments to troubleshoot, report and track problems to ensure on-time delivery  
  • Utilization of tools to identify and implement action plans to address gaps in metrics/customer service levels. 
  • Support Business Development Manager and outside sales reps  
  • Track and report on customer metrics and sales activities to support business development goals. 
  • Attend tradeshows to support the team as necessary.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. 
  • 1-3 Years experience in sales, marketing or related field.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 
  • Customer service experience is a plus. 
  • Positive, energetic attitude and willingness to learn. 
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
