We work on a wide variety of project types, serving public and private clients in land development, transportation, and municipal projects. Job Description

We are seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our Civil + Survey Marketing Team based in Portland, Oregon. In this role, we require someone to primarily plan and produce prime proposals, coordinate subconsultant qualifications, and contribute to the team's success by supporting a variety of initiatives as they arise.

Our ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and resourceful person who has experience with prime proposals. This is a full-time M-F hybrid position, working 3 days a week in our downtown Portland office.

The Proposal Specialist role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Leading the development of prime proposals from Go/No Go to Debrief
  • Planning and executing proposal writing, layout, design, and final production
  • Assisting with responses to teaming requests
  • Updating and organizing marketing assets
  • Updating information in the marketing database (Deltek Vantagepoint)
  • Assisting with other tasks and events as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in AEC marketing
  • Proven experience leading proposal development
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to self-motivate, multi-task, and collaborate
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign) and Office365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Compensation

The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate for this Proposal Specialist position is $72,000 to $90,000. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center. KPFF is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
