Asst Director of Professional Learning (Finance)



The College of Education offers various degree and certificate programs to prepare our students to become leaders, researchers, and scholars within various areas of study. The Gus A. Stavros Center for Free Enterprise and Economic Education works to advance the effective teaching and integration of free enterprise, financial literacy and economic education into the K-20 curricula. The Assistant Director of Professional Learning reports to the Director of the Stavros Center for Economic Education. The primary focus of this position is to support the professional learning initiatives of the Center. These professional learning opportunities are offered to individuals entering the teaching profession and those already in the profession. This position requires skill in planning, budgeting, and evaluating projects, along with specific expertise in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning in support of K-12 educational systems. This position also includes managing communications, marketing, and registration systems associated with professional learning.This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of four years related professional experience.

Teaching experience in K-12 school systems. Preferable Experience should be in Economics, Social Studies or Literacy.Working at USF

- Co-establish goals and objectives for professional learning programming
\n
- Oversee arrangements associated with implementation of professional Manage communications, registration processes, and outreach efforts associated with professional learning workshops. - Responding to inquiries regarding program fees, offerings, instructors, etc.

- Develop marketing plan to announce professional learning opportunities to school district partners
\n
- Manage and maintain Center distribution list and growing network of teachers and administrators Generates reports on completion of each professional learning workshop for relevant internal and external constituents.

- Evaluates professional learning programs for effectiveness based on survey data and other forms of feedback

- Reports on professional learning initiatives to Center leadership Manage special projects and other Stavros initiatives as assigned by Center leadership. Apply
