Solution Engineer is responsible for consulting with clients and advising them how to integrate Equifax products and services to solve their business problems. The consulting engagement also involves identifying and implementing improvements to the clients existing business processes. Responsible for assisting in managing the ongoing contractual relationships and delivery of professional services to clients for an account or group of accounts. Point of contact to clients regarding overall and day-to-day service delivery. Responsible for client satisfaction and the quality of services provided.
What you'll do
Consult with internal and/or external clients to understand their business problems, propose Equifax products and services, document requirements, and design technology solutions.
Design custom solutions for consumer and commercial credit risk decisioning products using a broad set of internal and external products.
Manage ongoing relationships and the operational delivery of services to clients for an account or group of accounts as outlined within client contracts, serving as the point of contact to the client(s) regarding overall and day-to-day service delivery.
Work across multiple teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities related to Equifax products and services.
Act as a partner liaison for solution implementations and delivery, create and prioritize the backlog, and provide acceptance of deliverables.
Facilitate and direct the ongoing support of the platforms with the responsible teams.
Proactively support colleagues, both individually and via contribution to internal knowledge portals.
Champion strategic process improvement initiatives.
Develop a deep understanding of Equifax data, technologies, products, and platforms.
Plan and manage the delivery of the solution into the test and production environments, including participation in the implementation or change and go-live events.
What experience you need
Bachelor's degree, or higher level education required
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in customer facing/consulting roles supporting enterprise clients and proposing solutions as you work through customer pain points and changes
1-2 years experience writing business requirements or technical solution documentation
Experience in IT, Business Analysis, or Product Owner experience
At least 1 year of experience working in a cloud environment and ability to integrate with APIs in design
1-3 years experience using business management software to author and manage rules and decision flows
