Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Title Production Manager in Franklin, Indiana. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire title production process including:  typing production, final policy production and search and examination.  This position provides accuracy, loss prevention and consistent flow of title production.

Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.

  •  Enters residential and commercial orders in the journal, conducts searches and examines courthouse records including: the Recorder's, Auditor's, Treasurer's and Assessor's Offices and all Courts of the County preparing the file for the customer and/or closing.
  • Designates the Underwriter and assesses the distribution to third party search vendors ensuring these are completed in a timely manner.
  • Visits and establishes contact with Court Houses to search property records and obtain copies of taxes, chain of title, judgement, and examines the transfer books.
  • Examines and evaluates the need for further research of all found documents using websites where public records are accessible.
  • Documents all information found pertaining to the search or insured real estate on an exam form.
  • Solves problems and serves as the subject matter expert for Members, Customers and Team Members.
  • Prepares commitments, searches, document preparation and distribution of product to customers.
  • Records documents using methods of electronic filing, physical files or mailing documents.
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Title Support Associates. Supervisory duties include performance management, training and development, and demonstrating and cultivating Centra's Vision, Mission, Culture, and Core Values.  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)

  • Associate's Degree in Related Field

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
