Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Professional/Task Manager (Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Engineer) to join the Resilience Team. As an Environmental Professional/Task Manager you will collaborate with a dynamic and growing team to support projects through all phases of the site evaluation and remediation life cycle. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual seeking career growth in environmental consulting and the environmental remediation market.
As an Environmental Professional/Task Manager you will have the opportunity to develop and refine a wide range of essential skills that serve as the foundation for a successful career in the environmental industry. In this full-time position, you will contribute to environmental investigation, remediation, and permitting projects, working across multiple projects and supporting various project managers. Your responsibilities will include both fieldwork and office-based tasks, encompassing a diverse range of activities related to environmental investigation and remediation.
Role accountabilities:
As an Environmental Professional, you will play a key role as part of a collaborative team, contributing to the planning, management, and execution of various project scopes. Your daily/weekly activities will include a mix of field-based and office-based work, with local travel to work sites expected and minimal overnight travel required.
Your typical responsibilities will include:
Successful candidates for this position will have prior experience in task management and/or the execution of environmental investigations or remediation under the direction of a project manager. Key aspects of task management include overseeing scopes of work, schedules, and budgets, while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety requirements. Preferred qualifications may include experience working around heavy equipment, troubleshooting system or equipment issues, and knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $62,120-$99,392. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
