CULINARY SOLUTIONS STRATEGIST (Food Services)



Join KENT Worldwide™ as a Culinary Solutions Strategist! We're looking for a dynamic culinary professional to lead strategic innovation and drive product engagement across our Regional Sales Managers and National Accounts teams. In this pivotal role, you'll act as a culinary account manager bringing our products to life through real-world demonstrations, menu development, and collaborative partnerships with Sales, R&D, and brokers.

  • This is a remote position; however, the candidate must be located within a 3–4 hour drive of Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you'll play a key part in scaling culinary support across multiple operating companies and showcasing the full potential of our brands.
  • The compensation range for this role is $110,000- $130,000, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors. 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a culinary consultant and sales enabler for both the RSM and National Accounts teams, tailoring product applications to customer needs and helping secure new business.
  • Collaborate with the broader culinary team, sales team, R&D and innovation groups to develop and present innovative menu solutions that align with customer goals and the consumer brands portfolio of products (e.g., hydration, foodservice).
  • Partner with R&D to support new product development and reformulations, ensuring culinary relevance and operational feasibility.
  • Lead and execute culinary presentations for key accounts, brokers, and agency partners, showcasing product versatility and driving menu placements.
  • Support broker training and engagement by delivering culinary education and reinforcing our value proposition across 70+ national broker offices.
  • Contribute to the development of the consumer brands portfolio of products and sales tools that highlight our product breadth and culinary innovation.
  • Participate in strategic planning with Commercial Team leadership, aligning culinary initiatives with broader sales and marketing objectives.
  • Represent the culinary team in cross-functional projects, including innovation pipelines, customer pilots, and field sales enablement.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in culinary innovation, foodservice operations, or menu development—preferably in a B2B or manufacturer setting.
  • Proven ability to influence sales outcomes through culinary storytelling and product application.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across Sales, R&D, and Marketing functions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with comfort engaging executive-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with national account structures, broker networks, and foodservice distribution models.

TRAVEL EXPECTED:

  • Up to 75% annually
