Press Operator

Starting Rate: $30.24-$35.50 per hour for day shift with a $.50 an hour shift differential for night shift.

Work Hours: 12 hour shifts; rotate 3/4 nights each week

Location: We have 2 locations North Plant located at 1009 Sloan Street and the South Plant located at 600 State Road 32 West, both in Crawfordsville, IN. This position is located at the North Plant.

As a Press Operator, you will:

• Set up, adjust, operate and maintain web offset printing press
• Install plates and blankets
• Make necessary color or register adjustments
• Replace press rollers, using hand tools
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
• Receive training to help advance your career

Thorough knowledge of web offset press required. Must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. DMP, RLI and COMN experience desired. Leadership experience is preferred. We will provide the job specific training you would need!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs. occasionally and up to 10-25 lbs. frequently
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and follow job tickets
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Ability to read a micrometer
• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge
